A casually likeable film based around the randoms and extras seated at the table at the very back of the wedding, this works due to a brilliant cast and a nicely unfussy approach. Its never hilarious or entirely fun, but director Jeffrey Blitz uses an awesomely familiar premise to bring a surprising amount of depth and emotion to each character, with a well handled love story that never feels forced or unnecessary. Its almost lethargically relaxed, but with Craig Robinson, Lisa Kudrow, Stephen Merchant and rising star Wyatt Russell in great form and the phenomenal Anna Kendrick leading the way, Table 19 earns its heartwarming ending.
